Introduction
Holiday Rice - Puertorican poor man's rice very tasty when you are on a low budget. I would modify it with brown rice, pigeon bean or any other ingredients. Ingredients

Goya tomato sauce 8 oz
white short grain rice 4 cups
salt 2tbsp
Goya Sazon packet
Hormel Spam 12oz
Corn Oil
Directions
Makes about 12 1-cup servings
Make sure to use thick cooking pot for even heat distribution
1) Add oil, tomatoe sauce, spam ham (chopped), sazon, salt (get creative and add any other vegies or olives spice it up). Let it simmer
2) Add 4 cups of water let it boil then add rice
3) VERY important make sure to wacth rice until a less than one inch of water is simmering on top then place fire on low and let simmer until cooked.
