Introduction

Delicious and quick to make! Delicious and quick to make!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 large apple
    1 tsp brown sugar
    20 raisins
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup vanilla yogurt

Tips

An even easier way - cut cored apple into 8 slices, put apple into a microwave safe dish, sprinkle with raisins, cinnamon & brown sugar. For more "sauce" add 2 tbsp. water. Cover with plate or lid and microwave 3-4 minutes.

Directions

Core apple and leave whole. Place apple in a microwave safe dish at least 1" high (juice will come out during cooking). Put sugar, raisins and cinnamon inside cored apple. Cover dish with an upside down microwave safe bowl to avoid splattering. Microwave for 3-4 minutes or until soft when pierced with a knife. Careful - bowl will be hot! Allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Spoon juices over apple halves and serve warm topped with yogurt. Deduct 45 calories if not using yogurt.
