Ingredients

    1 c yellow or green split peas
    3.5 cups water
    2 med onions
    5 cloves garlic
    2T curry powder
    2 t. ground cumin
    1 t salt
    2-4 T cilantro

Directions

Cook peans until soft and mushy.

In a separate sauce pan saute onion and garlic over medium heat in 2 T oil until brown.

Add spices. Simmer briefly. Serve over rice
