Ingredients
-
1/4 cup nonfat milk (or enough to blend to desired consistency)
6 oz (3/4 cup) nonfat vanilla yogurt
1 Tablespoon almond butter
1 serving Trader Joe's Vanilla Flavored Whey Protein Powder (2 scoops)
1 cup frozen blueberries
Directions
Put all ingredients into a blender in the order listed, and whirl for 30 seconds or until well mixed. (If you are using a Magic Bullet, reverse the order). You may need to add more or less milk to make it the desired consistency. Adding the frozen blueberries last to the mix will prevent clumping near the blades.
After blending, pour into a large glass or travel mug, and serve with a straw. Makes one serving.
Note: I like the Trader Joe's vanilla whey powder, at 130 calories/16 g protein per serving, but any protein powder will work.
