Ingredients

    1 lb ahi or yellow tail tuna, sashimi grade
    2 Tbsp good olive oil
    1 Tbsp tiny capers, drained
    1 Tbsp shallot, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp green olives, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
    1 tsp pine nuts, toasted and chopped
    1 lemon, quartered
    2 Tbsp fennel fronds, for garnish (optional)
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Chop the tuna into very small dice (1/4" or less) using a very sharp knife. Do not use a food processor. Mix in the olive oil, capers, shallot, pepper flakes, pine nuts, and olives. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fennel fronds, if desired. Serve with lemon wedges and toasted baguette or crackers. Serves 4.
