    Very Good
Used less bread crumbs. Used seasoned bread crumbs instead of cornmeal. They came out really well. Hubby really loved it. - 6/18/21

    O.K.
Too many bread crumbs for me, and not enough veggies. I thought these were a little dry. Plus, One can of beans does not = 10 burgers! - 3/9/13

I tried this recipe, found that they broke apart a little. Next time I will use fat free non stick cooking spray than the fatty oil to fry them. They were really good though. Will be making again. - 8/9/11

I made a similar recipe of these where they didn't use cornmeal, just fried in a pan with non-stick spray. So delicious! But may I recommend a "chipotle mayonnaise." Chop up a chipotle chile in adobo sauce, and mix it with 2 tablespoons of light mayo. SO good with these black bean burgers! - 1/22/10

loved it however i had to refigure nutritional value, i used jalopenos amd they have extra liquid so i added a second 2 cups of bread crumbs. then i could only manage to get 6 burgers about 5 ounces each. will make again. - 1/15/10
