Introduction

This blueberry smoothie recipe contains NO dairy products and is chock full of antioxidants and other good-for-you things. To cut calories further, replace pre-made tea with one green tea bag in half a cup of water. For additional nutrients, 1/4 avocado may be added. Ingredients

    1 green tea bag
    1/4 cup pomegranate juice
    1/2 cup blueberries, frozen and unsweetened
    1 tbsp honey
    1/4 avocado (optional)

Directions

Steep tea bag in 1/2 cup water for two minutes and allow to cool. Put remaining ingredients in the blender and blend. Add tea and blend.

Makes 1 tall glass of approximately 1 serving.
