    1/4 cup lentels
    2 Tb brown rice
    1 Tb barley
    1 tsp cracked wheat
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp cardamon seeds
    1/4 onion sliced
    water to cover
    dash of cinnamon and cloves


place all grains and spices in pan with water to cover and cook 30 minutes until grains are cooked makes 5 1/2 cup servings
