Introduction

Ingredients

    2 cups crisp rice cereal
    2 cups old-fashioned rolle oats
    1/2 cups dried cranberries (or cherries)
    1/2 cup roasted, salted sunflower seeds
    1/2 cup salted soy nuts (or green pumpkin seeds)
    1/2 cup roasted almonds, chopped
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

Spray 9 x 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. For easier removal line pan with foil or parchment paper before spraying it.

In large bowl, stir together cereal, oats, raisins, cranberries, sunflower seeds, soy nuts, and almonds.

In medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter. Cook over medium 5-7 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture; stir to combine. Press into pan; coll completely.

Makes 36 servings as calculated. Can be cut into 24 squares for a slightly larger treat.
