Ingredients

    Garlic, Fresh
    Onion (80gm) chopped raw onion, 1 cup
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    Asparagus, fresh, 20 spear, medium (5-1/4" to 7" long)
    Vegetable Broth, .25 cup
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Hormel Low Fat Bacon Bits, 3 tbsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 dash
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Foods Tofu Shirataki Spaghetti 2 oz, 8 oz

Directions

1. Prep - Cut vegetables according to preference.
Prepare Shirataki noodles according to package
2. Sweat garlic and onions in olive oil on medium heat
3. Add bacon to garlic and onions, lightly brown
4. Add 1/2 of vegetable broth to pan, simmer for 2 min
5. Add mushrooms and asparagus cook until slightly tender
6. Use remaining broth as needed, i.e. pan dries out
Toss with Shirataki Noodles and serve. Enjoy!

    I used FF chicken broth (this is what I had) and 2 slices turkey bacon (again, on hand) and used Mrs. Dash table blend. Delicious! - 10/11/09

    Incredible!
    I used whole wheat spaghetti because I didn't know where to buy those fancy Japanese noodles. It turned out absolutely delicious! If everything tastes this good, healthy eating will be no problem at all! - 1/31/10
