Introduction

This is a spicey sweet barbeque sauce that is great on chicken, ribs, or pork chops. This is a spicey sweet barbeque sauce that is great on chicken, ribs, or pork chops.

Ingredients

    1/2 Cup Cherry Jam
    1/2 Cup Ketchup
    1/4 Cup Red Wine
    2 Roasted Jalapeno Peppers
    3 Cloves of Garlic
    1 Medium Sweet Onion Chopped
    2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
    2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar

Directions

Roast Jalapeno Peppers in an oven or on a grill until soft peel and dice. Heat Olive Oil in a medium sauce pan. Add onion and cook until soft. Add Garlic, Jelly, Jalepeno, Ketchup and Red Wine Vinegar and cook until heated through. Add Red Wine. Cook on low for an additional 5 minutes.

Use this sauce as a BBQ sauce, or as a marinade for chicken, pork, or ribs.

Makes 12 servings 2 tablespoons each.
