Introduction

This has a great combination of flavors, I use Maggi Sauce instead of Soy Sauce because it's a little less in sodium. This has a great combination of flavors, I use Maggi Sauce instead of Soy Sauce because it's a little less in sodium.

Ingredients

4 breast chicken cut in halves (6 oz) each
    salt and pepper
    4 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Maggi Sauce (soy sauce)
    4 tbsp Honey
1 head garlic (about 10 cloves cut in half)
    1 lemon sliced with peel
    1/4 cup water
    1 tbsp fresh thyme
    1/4 cup fresh parsley

Directions

1. In large skillet add oil and heat on Med/Med High. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken to skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes, browning (turning) each piece.

2. Add garlic clove halves, maggi sauce and honey to pan, make sure to get chicken all over in the sauces. I turn it a few times to get a good coat of sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes.

3. Add water and lay slices of lemon on top of the chicken in the pan. Put lid on and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes.

4. Season the chicken with thyme and parsley. Continue to cook until chicken is cooked all the way through.
