Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup margarine (1stick)
    1 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 cup milk
    1 1/2 cup flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1 cup raisins
    1 cup chopped apples

Directions

Makes 50 cookies. Oven at 375. In a large mixer bowl beat margarine with electric mixer on med speed until softened, add brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Beat in egg and milk. In medium mixing bowl stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. With mixer on low speed gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture beating until will mixed. Stir in walnuts, raisins and apple. Drop dough but rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until the tops of the cookies are brown. Lift cookies unsing pancake turner to cooling rack to cool.
