    1 box whole wheat spaghetti
    2 slices raw bacon, diced
    4 cloves raw garlic, minced/grated
    1 cup diced onion
    1 cup frozen peas
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt, pepper, Italian style herbs to taste

Directions

Cook pasta according to package instructions.
While pasta is boiling separately, add oil, bacon, garlic and onion to large skillet pan. Simmer until onion is translucent and bacon is cooked through. Add broth, peas, salt, freshly ground pepper and Italian herbs (oregano, parsley, thyme, basil, etc) and lower heat. When it is ready, add cooked (drained) pasta directly to skillet pan and toss with hot veggie mixture. Allow the pasta to be evenly coated and soak up any remaining broth. Remove pan from heat and toss in grated cheese while the pasta is still hot. Serve immediately.
