Introduction

I had a similar recipe that I was using, but I found the calorie/fat content was too high, so I tweaked it a bit and came up with this yummy granola I eat almost every morning. The best part is you can tweak the recipe based on your preferences by adding different kinds of nuts or even dried fruit. This recipe is NOT granola! It was wet and sticky, and if you think this would be dry enough to crumble, I'd like to see it! I was very disappointed in this recipe, and the ingredients I wasted on it. We will eat it, but not like granola. - 2/26/10

In reading your review it sounds like maybe it didn't bake long enough, each oven is different that's why I didn't put a general baking time on the recipe. I have to make sure to keep stirring it so the bottom gets baked as well, once the whole entire batch is dry and golden brown, it's done.
