Introduction

Beef based all vegetable soup. no noodles, rice or barely. Beef based all vegetable soup. no noodles, rice or barely.

Ingredients

    stew beef, 1 lb. 1/4 tbls. flour ...sautee in olive oil in 2 tbsp.
    cabbage, 6 cups shredded
    2 cups each, carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms.
    fireroasted stewed tomatoes ...3 cups.
    2 quarts water.
    McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning, 1-2 tsp. to taste depending on how hot you like things.


Directions

Mixed stew beef with flour and braised in olive oil. Put meat and other ingredients into 6 qt slow cooker. Cooked on high for about 6 hours. Added ow salt beef base for enchanced beef flavor. Wanted low calorie soup to warm me, and low sodium. Makes 6 quarts, equalling about 24 cups.
