Celery, raw, .25 cup, diced (remove)
Garlic, 1 clove
Canned Tomatoes, 1 can
Tomato Paste, .33 cup
Water, bottled, .25 serving
Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled
Basil, .25 tbsp
Salt, .25 tsp
Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
Pepper, black, .25 tsp
*Speghetti Noodles, Wheat, 1 cup
Water, tap, .5 fl oz
Cornstarch, 7 grams
Directions
Cook Meat, mushrooms, onion, carrot, green pepper, celery, and garlic in a large saucepan until the meat is brown. Drain off fat.
Cut up tomatoes. Stir undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, 1/4 c water, bay leaf, basil, salt, oregano, and black pepper into saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 min, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to directions. Drain the pasta;cover and keep warm.
Combine 1 tbsp cold water adn the cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir in saice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. cook and stir for 2 more minutes.
Discard the bay leaf. Serve the meat sauce over pasta.
