    160g (1-1/3 cups) whole wheat flour
    45g (1/2 cup) ground flax seed
    220g (2 cups) oat bran
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    125g (2/3 cup) sucanat or brown sugar
    500g (2 cups) mashed banana
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 T. coconut oil
    1 cup buttermilk
    1/2 cup applesauce
    160g (1 cup) raisins, plumped in hot water


In a medium sized bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. In a large bowl mix together all the wet. Pour the dry into the wet and just barely mix. Add the raisins and finished gently mixing just until combined. Divide into 24 greased muffin cups. Bake at 400 for about 18 minutes or until done. Makes 24 muffins.
