Introduction

A hearty chowder for cooler temperatures or a chilly rainy. A hearty chowder for cooler temperatures or a chilly rainy.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    6 cups fresh corn
    4oz heavy cream
    16oz skim milk
    8 small red bliss potatoes, cut in half
    10 jumbo shrimp, cut in half
    4tbsp butter
    1cup chopped vidalia onion
    salt & pepper to taste
    1tbsp chopped garlic
    10oz frozen crab flavored seafood flakes

Directions

1) In large pot, cook corn, add skim milk & heavy cream.
2) In separate pan, saute garlic & onions in butter.
3) Once corn, milk & cream boil, reduce heat to medium& add potatoes
4) Add shrimp, crab & onions reduce heat to simmer for 45 minutes
5) Once cool, serve & enjoy.
Makes approximately (10) ten 1 cup servings
