Ingredients

    454 grams/1lb Extra Lean Ground Beef, Chicken, Turkey or Bison
    Can of crushed tomatoes
    Can of tomato paste
    3 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
    1 Large Onion
    1 tsp. Crushed garlic (fresh)
    2 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning (Basil, Oregano etc.)
    2.5 tsp. Splenda Brown Sugar Blend (or honey)
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    Tabasco sauce to taste (or fresh chili pepper)

Directions

Makes 8-10 servings depending on appetite :)

1) Brown beef in pot with onions and crushed garlic
2) Combine all other ingredients and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
3) Serve with your favorite whole wheat pasta and a dash of cheese.

For a lower fat version use ground bison, chicken or turkey. Also great as sauce for baked pastas!
