Introduction

I found a recipe that sounded good but didn't have the ingredients for so I mashed this together with what I had lying around the house. We have seven people at the house so I generally cook a large meal with extra servings as leftovers. Ingredients

    1.8 lbs. Beef, Stew Meat
2 cans Creme of Potato Soup
    2 cans Water
    1 can Green Beans
    1 can Sweet Corn
    1 Onion, chopped or diced
    1 tsp Garlic, chopped
    1 tbsp Pepper, to taste
    1 tsp Salt, to taste
1/2 cup Red Wine, for flavor
    1/4 cup Corn Starch

Directions

Precook the stew meat until brown and place in crockpot. Mix creme of potato soup, water, corn, onion, and garlic in a separate bowl. Stir until creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixed ingredients into the crockpot over the meat. Add the can of green beans. Cook for 1 hour on High or until the ingredients are warm. Add red wine and stir. Cook for another 3 hours on High. Add corn starch to thicken the stew, then reduce heat to low for another 2 to 3 hours.

You can add any variety of things with it. Steamed rice, bread, etc. I did corn muffins.
