Ingredients

    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
    2 cans (141/2 oz.) diced tomatos,undrained
    2 cans tomato soup (condensed and 25% less sodium)
    1 ½ cups milk (2%)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp.paprika
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    8 oz. Sour Cream (in tub - I use Trim and Lite Sour Cream)

Directions

In soup pan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in spices. Stir in tomatos, soup and milk. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Serve immediately. Makes 2 quarts or 8 servings.
