I love smoothies for a quick pick-me-up in the afternoons or mid-mornings and my need for higher fiber makes these perfect supplements to boost my fiber intake. Ingredients

1 cup yogurt (low fat)
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 small apple cored but NOT peeled
1 small pear cored but NOT peeled
2 fresh or frozen bananas peeled
1/2 cup almond milk or as needed to thin the smoothie a bit
4 to 5 ice cubes
Directions
Blend the yogurt and blueberries and then add and blend the remaining fruit until smooth with no chunks. Pour into glass and enjoy!
