    Brown Sugar, .5 cup, unpacked
    Oats, 1 cup
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    Soy Milk, .75 cup
    Salt, 1 dash
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .5 cup
    Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
    Banana, fresh, 1 cup, mashed

Directions

Soak oats in milk.
In another bowl, combine flours, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt.
Stir the milk, applesauce, (slightly beaten) egg and vanilla into the oat/milk mixture. Add the mashed banana (and optional chocolate chips), and combine thoroughly.
