For a fresh salsa verde, simmer tomatillos, and hot peppers (jalapenos are good, serranos are hotter, but you can take out most of the heat by cutting them open and pulling out all seeds and white parts-use gloves!) Then throw them in the blender with garlic, onion, and salt to taste. It's yumm. :)
If you look long enough everthing is toxic to you on the internet. Recipe looks good and I love my nonstick fry and sautee pans.

I am surprised by the number of people complaining/criticisizing the use of non stick pans, If you get a good quality pan and follow directions on it before & during use, they are as safe as any cookware. And How in the Heck would you get estrogen from nonstick cook ware?

Yum! This would make a great pizza or burrito too. I'll make a few subs for personal taste: minced jalapenos and/or green chiles (can used canned) instead of bells, coriander, chopped cilantro (remove pan from heat and add), and salsa fresca and yogurt for dipping. Parchment paper on pan or stone.

Keri414 ~ I've often wondered about that. I believe they are toxic, as well, but Rachael Ray and other cooks use them. I don't get it? Looks good though so I will try it ~ using ground beef ~ might even make them all for myself, for fast lunches, and freeze them. :)

Morning Star makes Meal Starters Crumbles which are soy crumbles and work really well as a meat substitute. I use them when I make sloppy joes. FABULOUS!

I may have to try this but I must admit I haven't really cooked with Ground Turkey. I have only tried Cumin once and not sure I liked it. Could the Cumin be omitted? I also thought I would watch some of the cooking videos to learn how to cook better.

The recipes are on Sparkpeople.com If you are Vegetarian you can use Grillers in any recipe requiring ground beef. turkey etc. I think its by Morning Star.

Made these a couple of weeks ago and DH loved them. Thinking it's time to make them again. The hardest part was sealing them and that was actually fun. Served with a side salad and glass on non-fat milk to round out the meal.

As this looks good and is pretty good for what you get. The fats are quite high for this. To add a little more of a tweak reduce the cheese, use fat free cheese or skip it all together. If you look the fats are about 14g that is just a bit too high, almost half that of what you should take for a day
