This might sound like a strange recipe but if you're craving chicken wings but don't want to eat all the fat or calories that they are laiden with than try this. I cut up chicken thighs into 3 or 4 small pieces and place on a baking sheet. It is a great substitute. I small wing has 80 calories and 5.7 grams of fat. A medium skinless chicken thigh is 107 calories with 5.7 grams of fat. Basically you get a lot more for around the same amount of calories.
This recipe is suitable for Atkins or other low carb diets. The addition of chicken broth and white wine make this a little different from the typical alfredo sauce. It's just delicious!
Copied from Recipezaar.com #256734. This recipe is awesome! I served it with cut green beans with butter and oregano and garlic bread sticks. I also used a red pepper (didn't have a green one) and still tasted wonderful! I did not use the parsley. Will probably add some kalamata olives on top next time too. Will definitely make again!
The spices are more or less to taste but are very close to what I use. My husband and I expiramented a few times until we finally nailed it! This chili is a thick chili; you could add more liquid if you like it thinner.
Smoothie with limited carbs and sugars for those suffering from PCOS. Still a sweet strawberry lime flavor.
I once made the mistake of making homemade spaghetti sauce...now my husband wont even eat Bertolli, which he used to love. While making your own sauce can be time consuming, this one is not and it is fabulous! This sauce can be made with or without the Red Wine, it is great either way. The only thing you have to worry about is never being able to buy spaghetti sauce out of jar!!!
Clams, Salamon and Chowder what more could one want except something INCREDIBILLY EASY? Well you got that too with this recipe! This recipe has very little calories, for a chowder, but is packed with protien! I am eating it right now and it is so good!
The ultimate primal treat - gluten-free, sugar-free, and potentially dairy-free is you have almond cheese. Yum!
A great low-carb breakfast, but beware - the serving size is small, and the stuff is incredibly addictive, so make sure you measure your portion and hide the rest in an inconvenient place!! Excellent served with cream.
After eliminating breads from my diet, I still missed the taste of garlic bread. Now I've created an easy, low-carb alternative that fills that void!
Since I can't have hot cross buns, I have made a cheesecake which evokes a similar sensation of spices and luxury!
This is my first cheesecake experiment. I was aiming for cheesecakes the size of mini-muffins that each held 1 gram of effective carbohydrate. Success! However, next time I will scrap the base, as this is where the carbs lie, and the base really isn't necessary. It's tasty, but it leaves so little room for the actual cheesecake!
By using the Dream Fields pasta you only get 5g of digestible carbs for every serving of their pasta. Which means this dish only has around 12g of carbs.
