Following a glutin, dairy, sugar, caffeine free diet I'm getting tired of the same ole things. I threw this together in the slow cooker and added some chili powder - I have a wimpy mouth - chilies or other spice can certainly be added.

This is easy low-fat spaghetti meat sauce. Simple is best. You can modify this to fit your taste. Add some Italian sausage for added kick. Add mushrooms or sun dried tomatoes. Substitute sliced sausage links for the meat or leave the meat out. Makes a good marinara. Use in lasagna, layer between noodles with mozzarella cheese and sauce. Salude!
