These are a healthy version of chocolate covered cherries and can be mistaken for them. They are easy to make and have a very interesting taste.
Italian sausage, ground beef, and stew beef, simmered with spices and dark beer. Go Oklahoman with ground grass-fed beef and buffalo stew meat; the nutritional info is based on these.
This is a wonderful spicy dip for parties. Serve with tortilla chips or low-fat wheat crackers.
This is a delicious party dip that travels well and serves a crowd. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips for something special.
I didn't have any refried beans and my 4 year old son loves bean dip, so I drained some cans and added some extras. He and some other guests really enjoyed it. Turns out my sour cream was full fat and I thought it was lite which was a bummer, so this recipe usually will be 1/2 c = 172.4 cal, 5.8 fat, 18.8 carbs, 2.9 fiber, 10.7 protein. Not a big difference, but every bit counts. Enjoy!
My husband made this for me a long time ago and now that I'm sparking, I would like to eat more veggies. I'm not too fond of carrots unless they are in a roast, but I remember these with a smile!
I usually don't make lasagna because of all the work that has to be put into it, but when I came across this recipe and figured I could use my Morning Star crumbles and Oven Ready noodles to speed it all up, I figured I would give it a shot.
I'd seen a recipe that tenderized the pork with canned soda in a crockpot and then later added jelly to make a bbq sauce. I couldn't find the recipe later, so just tried my hand at it. Enjoy!
I often make stuffed peppers, but it is a lot of work. I decided to make a casserole instead. Other than all the cutting, this is much better than the boiling of the peppers of my last recipe.
I am experimenting with more veggies and thus more dips. I need more protein so cottage cheese is a great choice for dips.
I have been eating these cookies at my in-laws, but the full fat and sugar ones. I am hoping to use my own ingredients from home to make a better alternative.
My friends have made this dip many times and I finally got the recipe from them. I decided to make my own and man it's good.
The recipe I found this from used 1 pound of full fat bacon cooked in a pan. That would have been 1 1/3 cups of Hormel's 50% less fat bacon bits. I decided to use only 1/2 C for this recipe as well as using 1/3 less fat cream cheese. My 6 year old daughter ate 2 pieces!! Hubby ate a lot more :)
I saw a similar recipe in a Taste of Home magazine and got a little creative. I changed the soup to mushroom soup, added fresh mushrooms, omitted a few ingredients and used the crockpot! It smelled mouthwatering while cooking. Enjoy!
I got this one from a friend when we passed meals around in our Mommy's group. It's a very easy put together crock meal because you use frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts, canned mushroom soup, and bacon bits instead of bacon. Oh and yummy sour cream!
I found this refreshing salad on the Taste of Home website. I just love broccoli and this sweet salad is quick and easy.
Once again had fresh spinach that needed to be used and came up with a great recipe. My kids love spinach artichoke dip so this was a great way to get their veggies in also.
True to the avocado, this recipe brings out its freshness without too much fuss
This easy dip has been a favorite at our house for years! I never serve it at a party that at least one person doesn't ask for the recipe.
