The Ultimate 100 Calorie Chocolatey PB spread for apples, toast, and anyting else!
Preheat oven to 350oF (175 degrees )
1. in a medium bowl mix together the butter (softened) and peanut butter (room temperature) until smooth. Mix in the honey, egg and vanilla. Combine the whole wheat flour, dry milk powder, wheat bran and baking soda. Stir in the peanut butter mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on to ungreased baking sheets
Bake for 8 to 10 min in pre heated oven, or until edges beging to brown.
Remove from baking sheet to cool on wire racks.
This is just like the original from the Frank's Red Hots website but adjusted to a more healthy low calorie version. It's excellent with celery or whole grain chips.
