This is a wonderful cake - but how my mother-in-law got the recipe and if it should be titled as such I am not sure - would love to hear from others and what they call it.

Mix first seven ingredients together with a spoon or fork. Not an electric mixer. Bake 40-50 minutes at 350 in a 13x9 or two smaller pans.
Mix last four ingredients tog while cake is baking. Spread frosting on cake while still warm. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. 24 servings

a wonderful treat to any mexican meal

Mix cake mix (white) with buttermilk, butter, egg whites, and vanilla. beat 30 seconds and then at medium speed for 3 minutes. Fold in pineapple that is drained, coconut. Bake 350 for 30 -35 min.

Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and 2 tbls butter. Frosted cooled cake.
