Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is a great recipe for beef and noodles. Instead of regular noodles I added Zucchini noodles! It came out delicious. Plus it was low calorie and low carb!
add salt &pepper and garlic to meat while it cooks. you can add onion soup mix to it.
This is pretty good. I added frozen peas and carrots the last 10 minutes of cooking. I used low sodium everything. Tastes great.
I skipped the onions cause my family doesn't care for them much and replaced it with 2 cloves of minced garlic browned stew beef and added 4 cups of beef stock and 4 cups water also used fettucini noodles added salt, pepper, onion powder and granulated garlic, turned out great!
Made this last night and even with the addition of garlic, low sodium bouillon, bay leaf and no salt seasoning, it was pretty bland--would have to do a lot to put some flavor in this one--not a keeper.
I have avoided making beef&noodles since I got a bad recipe years ago but I figured this seemed easy and inexpensive enough to gamble on and My family absolutely Loved it! Only thing I did diff. was I used Kroger brand Hearty Beef broth that's 99% Fat Free and No MSG. Will def make again!
This was yummy. I used whole wheat egg noodles and cut it to 6 oz. instead of 8oz. to save calories.
This is a good recipe. I also added a heaping Tablespoon of minced garlic to the onions and used salt & pepper to season...even with that we still found it slightly bland. I put a little fat free sour cream in with mine and it was SO tasty! This is a great "base recipe" to add all your faves to!
That is a lot of sodium, no way would I add additional salt besides the broth. I'd experiment with other spices if needed.
I don't get everyone adding MORE salt, or using the onion soup mix. Have you read the sodium content in that?
The recipe sounds yummy as is. Adding seasonings such as garlic, onions, and pepper(bell), now that I can go for.
