Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is delicious. Didn't change a thing. So simple to make and the calories are just right for me. I will definitely make this again.
This was excellent. Any suggestions on cutting the sodium back a bit?
I love the instruction to drain off the fat from the ground turkey. Ground turkey doesn't have fat, that's why it's so bland.
Yum. I sauteed the turkey with a large chopped onion and a clove of garlic before adding to the crock. I added two red bell peppers because they needed to be used and to add more fiber. If I had cheddar I would have sprinkled that on top, but made do with some chopped chives. Will repeat this one.
I use a can of green chili sauce or enchilada sauce in place of he v-8..
and you can add more low sodium chicken broth if needed...
I also added sauteed onions and canned green chilis, hot as we like spice
I used no salt and lower sodium on everything, for my blood pressure. still tasted good.
Good, but a bit too high carb for me.
This may just be my favorite chili. So simple to make. I did add a can of kidney beans and I rinsed both cans of beans before adding because I try to cut back on sodium as much as possible. The consistency was still perfect and so yummy! Makes you feel healthy just eating it :)
Complimentary comments from the whole family from 84 yr old o 9 yr old! It's easy, the turkey in it tastes great. I added a few pinto beans to use up a leftover and used no salt added diced tomatoes with a little extra tomato juice.
Amazing, easy and delish! Only thing I did different was to use low or no added sodium on the canned tomatoes, beans and corn. And for me it yielded 6 1C servings.
Fantastic! To cut sodium, I used dried beans and replaced the seasoning mix with a Tbsp of cumin, salt to taste, and a whole head of garlic with just the top sliced off. Because I needed more liquid (dried beans) I added an extra can of V8, some water and some chopped tomato. My family LOVED it!
