Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I used All-Bran Cereal to avoid the sweetener in Fiber-1. Works great!
It's been my experience that anything breaded with the Fiber One cereal just doesn't taste that great .... too sweet for so many things. The Panko crumbs are a far better option, as are crushed cornflake crumbs, crushed Stove Top dressing mix, and crushed ready-made salad croutons.
Ive made these and they are awesome. Just make sure that you use the regular plain fiber one cereal, not the ones with almonds or other flavors...
Don't like the sweetness of the fiber one. Am going to try crushed grape nuts or something else. But otherwise neat idea.
After reading several comments, I decided to use italian bread crumbs and panko crumbs. I combined 1/4 cup of italian bread crumbs with 1/4 panko crumbs. I also used light mozzarella sticks that were 50 calories each. Overall, a pretty good snack since the majority of the calories were cheese.
Wonder if you used All Bran extra fiber you could avoid the sweet taste of Fiber One. Sounds like something to try for sure!
I used a mixture of fiber one and panko; I agree that fiber one tastes too sweet sometimes, and this helps. I used this for chicken strips too!
ooo i want to try this! my h2b loves moz. sticks and we jut got the morning farm ones. i want to try this! what kind of fiber one cereal? like any kind??? im going cereal shopping soon so hmm...now from what i had read idk now just for one that is alot of cafloires....but love the fiber part though
I substituted all bran garlic & herb crackers (18 = 120 cal/6g fat/5g fiber) and used WW string scheese (1=50 cal/2.5 fat)...they were OK. Satisfied the craving.
Good idea with the fiber, but the slightly sweet taste of the cereal ruins the flavoring completely! The texture wasn't bad, just the tate. I may try panko bread crumbs instead.
WOW, and added fiber too! Sounds great...can't wait to try it!
