Before the discovery of modern ways to treat diabetes -- they used to CURE it with high fat, protein, no sugar diets. Fat was/is essential. There are a few popular diets today that eat only this way. Sounds like a great recipe to me.
Why do so many people think you have to go low fat to get healthy? The opposite is true. Yes, it is a lot of calories, but don't you know the meaning of moderation? The fats are healthy ones (PLEASE don't substitute margarine for the butter!) and there are very few carbs. My bloodsugar will like it.
What a wonderful LOW CARB treat! Too bad those low-fat Spark People can't have them! Not really; more for ME!
It seems fairly high in calories.
These are great but I made them with real sugar.
