Better than what I thought it would be. This went very well with breyers no sugar added salted carmel ice cream and sugar free whipped topping.
This is just out of this world. I used Hershey's sugar free chocolate chips and followed the recipe otherwise. Will definitely be made over and over again. I think I may add pecans next time.
Super yummy! But very rich, just a small slice will do! I used real sugar, since I'm not a fan of chemical substitutes, and it worked out really well.
This is a wonderful dessert for someone watching their sugar intake!! Had a brownie consistancy (couldn't be because I forgot to cool the chocolate before I put it in the eggs!!) I am going to add some walnuts next time.
I really wanted to like this, but it just wasn't worth the mostly empty calories. It was a little dry and the texture didn't do it for me.
I have a similar recipe which i use for gluten free cooking. For those who are diabetic or avoid artificial sweeteners, try the super-sweet herb Stevia. Stevia's slight aftertaste is masked by the chocolate. So my recipe remains gluten free and sugar-free, but definitely not guilt-free.
I think this one will be great as I watch my Carbs and both my son and I need to be Gluten Free! So thanks!!!!
Sounds Awesome! Can't wait to try it. Perfect for diabetics and low carbers! THANK YOU SP for featuring a Low Carb recipe!
Ive made something very similar before, you can substitute the unsalted butter for half fat butter and still get the same results but half the fat :)
This recipe would be ideal if you are following a low carb diet, I will give it a try. It looks good, but I don't like the taste of splenda and wonder how safe it is to eat.
I am a diabetic and also have to watch my weight. I would have to pass on this. It is nothing but empty calories.
This is mostly saturated fat. No idea for any diet. Sorry, I can't. I avoid butter and margarine. I'm sure it tastes great though.
I am diabetic & have to watch what I eat with flour in it because it makes my sugar go up to 200 but this cake was great & I also love chocolate. What a treat.
