Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is my go to mac n cheese recipe, no more box. We don't like it baked cause it gets too dry. Experiment with different cheese. Really nice and creamy and we don't miss the sodium and fat, that's how good it is. Thank You!!!!
My grandkids knew it was different than my full fat version, but they did eat it and even had seconds. I used two 8 oz. bars of low fat cheddar cheese instead of the Velveeta. I baked it with a glass lid so it stayed creamy and left off the bread crumbs since the kids won't eat them. Very Good!
I'm going to give this one a try, but I'll use Dreamfields pasta...for anyone having to watch their sugars, Dreamfields has little to no effect on MOST people's sugar.
One of my favorite dishes and a great way to make it less fattening.
I kept everyone's comments in mind and added some extra milk, but this still turned out dry. It's really tasty though if you add your favorite spices- I added some garlic salt, regular salt and paprika. Also, instead of bread crumbs I used crushed croutons and sprinkled some cheese on top as well.YUM
This was not good at all, it was soooooo dry. I thought it took too much time and had way too many calories to come out so disappointingly dry. Not worth it. Also, add some salt! Very bland without it!
it was very good considiering i used all not fat and skim plus whole wheat pasta, i'm not sure if it's really suppose to be only 3oz of velveta, but it was dry i would definately add more velveta
