Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I added some wheat germ as well. 1/4 c stevia and 1/4 c sugar. Baked 10 minutes to keep them soft. Even my picky kids liked them!
I loved these cookies. I didn't add any chocolate chips and I used generic Splenda instead of white sugar, and I used the Brown Splenda as well. (Cut the calories just a bit) But they turned out great! I would definitely make them again!!!!
I made these with my sister, they were soo good! I ommited the butter completely and just used another 1/2 cup of applesauce and used 4 egg whites instead. I also used splenda and twin brown sugar subtitute for the sugars. They were so chewy and yummy :D Thank you
I followed the recipe except I used dark brown sugar as that's what I had, omitted the 1/3 white sugar and used dark chocolate chunks. Delicious and the kids loved it! I only made about 45 cookies though, so they were about 97 cals each.
Minor subs- unsalted butter, halved the amount of sugar and used Truvia, but did double the choc chips to 2 c. I also ground up two of the cups of the oats. Brought over to neighborhood happy hour, and the entire batch was gobbled up, with several requests for the recipe!
These were easy to make with my kids. They taste really good!!!! My only negative the 85 calories per cookie.. the cookies are REALLY small. Like a whole dollar.. I can use the calories somewhere eles. =[
Yum! I am baking these as I type! Very good! Definitely need to flatten before baking. I used 3/4 C brown sugar, 3/4 C splenda, butter instead of margarine and put in 1 tsp of cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg.
Very good! I even substituted 1/2 of the sugar for Splenda and it came out great! I also used 1/2 butterscotch and 1/2 chocolate chips. Yummy!
Super great! I made it with 1/3 Splenda, 1/3 brown sugar, 1/3 white sugar and they're plenty sweet. Not too filling though. I could eat a fair number of them.
Wow!!! These cookies are fantastic...can't wait to share with family and friends. I even replaced the white sugar with Splenda and they still rock!! Thanks so much.
Those cookies are really good. I used butter though cause I absolutely can't stand margarine. Also I just the Splenda Brown Sugar instead of regular one, added two egg whites instead of the eggs, and some cinnamon (could have used a little more).
I live at 8500 feet, so in order for my cookies to bake properly, I upped the whole wheat flour to 2 cups. I also added some raisins, and yummers! They were very sweet, so next time I may cut back on the sugar a bit, too.
Really Good. Used BUTTER to avoid transfats and brown sugar to avoid artificial sweeteners!! Instead of one cup of choco chips, I used both the chips and some organic trail mix!! Cookies are fairly healthy. Hubby and kids LOVE them, what more can a mom ask for?
I made a few minor subs: unsalted butter for margarine, 2 egg whites for one of the eggs, added 2 c chocolate chips instead of 1, and made about 5-dozen medium-small cookies, making the calorie count about the same. Excellent, and hubby (who hates health food) wouldn't keep his paws off!
