Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I can't even be in the same room with the smell of artificial butter. Broiled zucchini is great, though, and broiled parmesan melts into little stars. Eat them together and the parm lends needed salt to the zucchini. Submitted by:

I'd use coconut oil instead of butter spray. And I'd use nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan cheese. Of course, first I have to get a zucchini!! Submitted by:

Excellent snack food and so easy to turn into finger sandwiches by adding in meat or plant-based proteins. Submitted by:

I thought I had parmesan, but I only had the grated, so I used sea salt, pepper, garlic powder and a touch of onion powder. The BF LOVED them, but I would've preferred that they were a bit more crunchy. Next time I will make sure I have some fresh parmesan! Submitted by:

are they crispy, I've tried to make these with egg whites and panko crumbs, and bake them in an oven, they don't turn out like the ones I've had in restaurants, I'm sure they probably fry them, they are really good, but frying them makes them more calories..

Love this! I make asparagus this way all the time (sparkpeople recipe) Don't skip the cheese, it is so worth the calories and Parm makes it really sing! I use Mrs. Dash Garlic and herb season, olive oil, and a wee bit of sea salt. Delish. Love the little stalks, seems more special than slices. Submitted by:

This is really good! I'm always looking for recipes for my toaster oven, and this is perfect! Could benefit with the addition of a little salt, pepper, basil, garlic, and olive oil spray. I like the asparagus idea, as well. Submitted by:

We always have to add garlic salt or powder and pepper. Then, I have to discipline myself when served this! Submitted by:
