The meat was tender and delicious. I used no salt added tomato sauce, but the gravy was still a smidge too salty for me, so I think next time I may low sodium beef broth and some caramelized onion. I also prefer a bit more tang, so I think I'll add a bit more red wine vinegar, but I'll make it again
We followed the directions exactly. The meat was tender and delicious, the sauce was too salty, too thick, and overly sweet, and we did not enjoy it. I served it with mashed potatoes, a salad, and cooked red cabbage.
