This is VERY similar to the recipe my mom & I would make every year for my birthday. She use to make them like this when she was growing up in Italy, it takes all day but SO well worth it! DOn't forget to put a little reduced sodium salt in the water when you cook them, & use some homemade sauce!
i added a low fat cheese sauce
This recipe may be hard work, but it is so worth it! Just think of the calories burned to make it! The ultimate comfort food, and it works well with any pasta sauce.
