I added balsamic vinegar and skipped the "chill" part! I'll definitely make this often during "tomato and basil season!" - 8/20/09

My husband made this last night. He shredded the mozzarella....almost made it seem like we were eating Olive Garden's salad! =) Very good- will add to the rotation. Thanks! - 7/12/11

I love this recipe, I make it often. I like to use cherry tomatoes, sliced in half. I use fresh basil from my garden (pluck the leaves, rinse, dry and then stack them on top of each other, roll them like a cigar and then slice) great way to cut up basil leaves. Quality oil, infuse w Tarragon or ros - 6/14/11

Made this today for lunch. I now have a new favorite! Very tasty, but easy on the stomach...and the waistline! The taste makes me feel like I'm dining in an Italian sidewalk cafe. Good stuff! - 4/28/11

Wow, this is so simple but tastes amazing! I whipped this up in about two minutes - i can now use that once-redundant basil plant on the windowsill! Thank you - 8/12/10

This is known by Italians as Tomato Capressi - a wonderful addition to my table time and again. If you don't have or can't affort fresh Basil, use a prepared Pesto sauce from your local grocery. Delicious with or without the salad greens, try Heirloom Tomatoes for flavour. - 8/27/07

I made this today and loved it. Had not paid attention to the amount of garlic to put in until I was ready to make the recipe... But what the heck... once in a while right? - 8/17/07
