Introduction

this is my dad's recipe and he says that it doesn't turn out right unless you sing this is my dad's recipe and he says that it doesn't turn out right unless you sing
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 green bell peppers
    2 red bell peppers
    1 red onion
    1 "ring" of turkey polish sausage
    4 red potatoes
    1 pinch of mrs. dash (your favorite blend)
    1 pinch of black pepper
    aluminum foil
    cookie sheet

Directions

*preheat oven to 400 degrees
*chop all bell peppers into 2 inch pieces
*cut onion in half and slice
*cut sausage into 2 inch chunks( about 8 pieces)
*quarter red potatoes
* mix peppers, onions, sausage, potatoes, mrs dash andblack pepper together in a bowl- set aside
* pull off 4- 1 foot square pieces of foil
* put 1/4 peppers,onions, potatoes, and sausage into center of foil and seal into pocket, repeat with other 3
*place on cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 30 minutes
makes 4 servings, place foil pocket on plate and open when ready to serve.
we also like to eat this over rice

    Oh yum! I do something similar to this but add roughly chopped cabbage...so very very good! I gotta try the singing part, lol! I'm sure my kids will get a kick out of that =)) - 3/8/08

    Loved it! I used quartered white potatoes and they took a bit longer to get soft. Next time I will add more potatoes and also some fresh mushrooms. - 11/8/07

    Made this last night. Needs to cook longer for the potatoes to be soft. 45-60 minutes. I'd also add corn next time. My family enjoyed it. - 11/1/07

    This was a wonderful idea! I used leftover cooked ground beef, chopped white potatoes and frozen vegetables (I didn't have any peppers). My small children ate it and loved it! Thanks for the recipe! - 10/23/07

    I made this for dinner tonight. I loved it and my husband thought it was great! Something new. I think polish sausage is a little strong so I liked it when I put the onions and peppers on the sausage on my fork. Didn't make the sausage so strong. - 10/14/07
