I left out the salt to lower the sodium. It had a great taste was very runny. Next time I'll use 1/2 cup of milk. I also used 4 potatoes. - 8/23/12

This is how my mother taught me to make mashed potatoes. I always leave the skin on, I love them that way. Sometimes I will add either garlic, Cajun seasoning or hot sauce to them to give them an extra kick!! - 8/26/09

I used skim milk and land-o-lakes butter with canola oil (my fave) and it was WAYYY to watery. We had to add an extra potato and it still wasn't thick enough. It had a little too much salt too, and I love salt. The flavor was good though! Now I just use a "splash" of milk and gradually add salt. - 8/10/09
