0.50 tsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Pepper, black
0.50 tsp Salt
0.50 cup, chopped Onions, raw
1.50 cup Tomato Sauce
4.50 cup Garden Rotini
14 oz Beef, 90% Lean Ground Beef
Tips
You can substitute shredded cabbage or cauliflower for the pasta to even make it healthier.
Directions
Brown the ground beef with the onion. Add 1/2 of the chili powder and continue browning for 5 minutes. Add the remaining chili powder and the tomato sauce (you can rinse out the cans with a small amount of water and add as well.) Simmer for 10 minutes.
Prepare macaroni by package directions. Add macaroni to beef mixture and combine. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

YUMMO! Everyone in my family loved it. I used whole wheat penne rigate instead of macaroni. - 8/2/09

Great idea on the pasta swap out. Also, with the leftovers (I always make extra) I add whole kernel corn and put it in a baking dish and cover with foil until it is hot. Then I put low fat cheese on top and put back in the oven to melt. It is delicious.
