Ingredients

    1/2 lb extra lean ground beef
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    1 cup carrots, julienne or coarsely chopped
    2 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, no salt added
    1 (15 oz) can Kuner's kidney beans with liquid
    1 (15 oz) can Kuner's great northern or pinto beans with liquid
    2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
    3 to 4 cups water
    1 tbsp vinegar
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/4 tsp oregano
    1 1/4 tsp basil
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp thyme
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1/2 cup ditalini pasta (uncooked)

Directions

Brown meat; drain. Add onions, celery, carrots and seasoning and saute for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except pasta, simmer for 1 hour. About 50 minutes into simmer time, add pasta. Cook for about 15 minutes until pasta is done. Serving size 1 cup.
