Introduction

This was a salad that I purchased at a Salad Bar at my local grocer's deli. I decided to see if I could make it better at home and VOILA! I did. Ingredients

4 cups of mixed field greens
    1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup Athenos' Crumbled Feta Cheese (Original flavor)
1 red (bermuda) onion, thinly sliced
1/2 pint of fresh blueberries, washed and dried
8 tbsp Newman's Own Lighten Up Light Raspberry Walnut Dressing (you can use your own favorite fruit and walnut dressing, but this is the best tasting in my own opinion)

Directions

This salad will make up to six servings as an appetizer or 4 servings as a main course. I personally like to eat it for lunch. It's great tasting and fills you up really well.

Wash and pat dry the salad greens, and set aside. Slice your onion in half and then with a chef knife slice it as thin as you like. I like my onion slices to be almost paper thin. Wash and drain your blueberries, while those are draining, chop up the walnuts or you can buy the bag of chopped walnuts from your grocer's baking isle.

Put the greens in a large enough bowl so that you can toss all the ingredients together once assembled. Place blueberries, feta, onion and walnuts in bowl with greens, and then add the salad dressing. Toss to lightly coat and serve immediately.
