Introduction

I just made this to use up some leftover steak and I would like to see how it adds up in calories. It made 2 quarts of soup, I am trying to see how many calories per one cup. Ingredients

    10 oz Top Sirloin steak
    1 T olive oil
    1/2 red onion
    2 carrots
    1 T Garlic
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 T Italian Seasoning
    1/2 cup quinoa
    salt and pepper

Directions

cut meat into 1/2 inch pieces, cut veggies into bite size pieces. Saute veggies first in 1 T olive oil. Then add meat and brown it. add 43.5 ounces of h2o or stock. I used 14.5 oz of chicken stock and 29 oz h2o. add seasonings and quinoa and simmer til desired tenderness is reached.
