Introduction

Chef Lidea's celery sauteed with tomato sauce, and I added the escrole. Chef Lidea's celery sauteed with tomato sauce, and I added the escrole.

Ingredients

    2 cups of chopped celery
    2cups chopped escrole
    one onion chopped
    one clove garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
    one small can of low salt tomato sauce

Directions

Sautee the chopped onion, and add the cerlery. Cook covered until tender. Add garlic, and also the chopped esccrole. Add spices and can of tomato. Sautee for about 10 min. I use one tsp of olive oil and add some water after the veggies are added.
makes four half cup servings. opt..sprinkle with good cheese
