Introduction

A great recipe to throw in the slow cooker before work and it will be ready for you when you get home from work. A great recipe to throw in the slow cooker before work and it will be ready for you when you get home from work.

Ingredients

    6 4-oz pork loin chops
    1-10 3/4 oz fat free cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup dijon mustard
    1/2 tsp dried thyme
    1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
    Salt & pepper to taste
    6 medium potatoes, sliced thin
    1 onion, sliced

Directions

Combine soup, broth, mustard, potatoes, onions and garlic in a slow cooker.
Sprinkle salt, pepper & thyme on pork and put on top of mixture.
Cook on low for 8 hours, high 4-6 hours.

    This was pretty good. I thought the dijon flavor would come through more than it did. Next time I think I will try upping the dijon to see if that makes the final product more flavorful. - 7/12/07

    I made this but couldn't find the mustard, so I used a heaping teaspoon of horseradish, and it was excellant. You could cut the chops with a fork..talk about 'melt in your mouth'' ..we both loved it !! - 5/23/08
