Ingredients

    2 cans apple pie filling
    2 tablespoons fat free butter
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 tesp each, ground ginger, cloves and nutmeg
    egg subsitiute (equiv. to 3 eggs)
    1/2 cup fat free buttermilk
    1/2 cup plain flour (you can use whole wheat)
    1 tabelspoon fat free sour cream or yogurt
    1 teasp lemon zest
    1/4 tesp salt
    confectioners sugar for dusting

Directions

Makes 6 servings Oneb temp, 350

Place pie filling in an iron skillet. Add spices and fat free butter. Heat on stove until hot and butter has metled. In a small bowl place egg substitute and wisk until frothy, add buttermilk (i actually used fat free which makes the fat content of serving down to 5 grams per serving) whik. Add sour cream and salt. Wisk. Add flour and lemon zest. Wisk and pour over pie filling mixture in skillet. Place in oven until fluffy and bubbily. About 20-30 minutes
